There are two ways to find a local fitness group. You can search your region to find a wider choice of groups or enter your postcode to keep it local.

South London (22)

  • Battersea Park has loads going on all year round including boating, fishing, tennis, cricket,cycling cultural events and playgrounds for kids as well as some great outdoor workouts.....

  • Bexley has a number of green open spaces including the award winning Danson Park and Foots Cray Meadows - plenty of space for a good outdoor workout....
  • Blackheath is a stunning open stretch of park land - a great place to get some outdoor exercise, fresh air and big skies. A favourite with serious kite fliers and famous for annual fireworks. You can find some lovely cafes in Blackheath village to find post-workout refreshments too.....

  • Brockley Open Gym takes place in a beautiful park called Hilly Fields. It is perfect for Open Gym-ing due to the undulating terrain and trees that are well positioned for slalom-racing! The park also has great views of the city. The classes take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings with coach Aaron.

  • Brockwell Park is a large, historic park located between Brixton, Dulwich and Herne Hill - lovely views, a popular open air lido, an active Friends of Brockwell Park group and lots of outdoor activities...
  • Bromley has a wealth of parks and open spaces including the lovely Norman Park which has an athletics track and popular annual fireworks event as well as a regular running group....
  • Bushy Park lies just north of Hampton Court Palace and is a stunning royal parkland - a glorious place for an outdoor workout....
  • Warwick Gardens in Camberwell is a small, popular park, well used by the local community. The play area is a meeting point for local families and the five-a-side football pitch ideal for informal kickabouts.  At the moment there is one outdoor workout class happening in Warwick Gardens ........

  • Cheam has a number of lovely parks on the southern edge of outer London including Nonsuch Park which used to be hunting grounds for Henry VIII. Now there is an extensive network of walking paths as well as outdoor fitness groups ...
  • Clapham Common is a lovely and popular grassland in South London with lots of fitness classes every day to choose from....

  • Croydon has lots of parks and green open spaces including Selsdon Wood Nature Reserve and Lloyd Park which hosts a popular summer festival as well as a regular running group.....
  • Crystal Palace is a stunning park in South London with wonderful views. It is home to a national sports centre, has a lovely lake and an active Friends of Crystal Palace Park group. There are plenty of outdoor workouts to choose from.....
  • Dulwich Park is packed with fun things to do including a boating lake, football pitches, tennis courts, outdoor gym equipment, open air table tennis and perfect picnic spots. There is the lovely Pavilion Café for a post workout snack and you can hire a cycle at Recumbent Bikes. On the first Saturday of every month Dig the Park events are held.   • Eltham has a number of parks and green spaces including Oxleas Wood which has great cycle trails and the beautiful Avery Hill Park which has a fantastic hothouse Winter Garden, an active running group and a cafe for post workout snacks.   • Greenwich park is one of the largest green spaces in London and it part of the Greenwich World Heritage site - stunning views and steep hills make it an ideal location for getting fit in the great outdoors....
  • Peckham Rye Park is an extensive stretch of green space in South London. It has a lake, woodlands, ornamental gardens and a large open recreational area as well as a children's playground. There is an active Friends of Peckham Rye group and you can stop for delicious post-workout refreshments at the Cafe on the Rye - the perfect place to re-charge your batteries....

  • Richmond has more open green space than any other London borough including some stunning parks and riverside walks - lots of outdoor workouts to choose from....
  • Streatham Common is a large open green space in South Lambeth with amazing views, woodland, grassland, wild flower meadows, an enchanting formal garden and a cafe to find refreshments......

  • Tooting Bec Common is a beautiful historic park with an active Friends of Tooting Common group. There are woodlands, nature trails, a lake and wildlife areas as well as good sporting facilities including an athletics track, tennis courts, horse riding and the well loved outdoor lido pool.....

  • Twickenham has some beautiful green spaces including Twickenham Green and the lovely Moor Meads Park along the river Crane - you will find open fields, cricket pitch, tennis courts and playgrounds. There are several outdoor workout classes you can choose from listed below .....

  • There are several lovely parks in this area including Wandsworth Common, Spencer Park, Wandsworth Common West Side, King George's Park and Wandsworth Park in Putney.
